EditorialAbstract
Implantology is living magnificent times.
With the development of techniques and technologies, we enjoy brilliant results and fantastic rehabilitations.
However, we have noticed that learning in several countries does not keep up with the advancement of Implantology. Many professionals do not have basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, surgery (incisions and sutures), anesthesiology, pharmacology,
among other basic disciplines.
It seems that the world of artificial intelligence is also invading the world of clinical practice. Internet search tools have become the new teachers, where a lot of information is dumped irresponsibly. Much information is passed on without technical/scientific
basis, leading consumers to believe that the content presented is easy to implement without understanding the possibilities of errors and disastrous consequences.
We live in a time of obtaining information in a very simple way, which is undoubtedly fabulous, but we cannot forget to strengthen the knowledge base, otherwise technology will be of no use.
