The Journal of Clinical Implants and Surgery aims to disseminate front-line issues and sharing the current situation in the areas of Implant Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthesis and Periodontics, etc, through original works in the basic and clinical areas, as well as literature reviews, series and case reports, and also publicizing events of these specialties. Works from related areas, such as Surgical Anatomy, Imaging, Stomato Pathology and piezoelectric dentistry, biomaterials, applied techniques and new technologies are also welcome. The concepts expressed in the articles, as well as authorization for the use of images, published in the Journal of Oral Implants and Surgery are the responsibility of the authors, exempting the Scientific Editor or the Editorial Board.

As an online publishing journal, it seeks to create a platform for researchers and clinicians by presenting pertinent investigations, for discussing critical questions relevant to the entire fields of oral and maxillofacial implants and surgery, and aiming to develop new perspectives for all those issues concerned with oral and maxillofacial implants and surgery.

The journal features original articles, cutting-edge reviews, case reports and some short but thought-provoking articles like editorial commentaries, thus representing a source of valuable, novel information for clinical and basic researchers alike. The entire submission and review process are managed through OJS, an electronic system to increase efficiency and ensure that submissions can be published within a short turnaround period. English, Spanish and Protuguese articles are accepted.
